woohoo… I went in to check my traffic log and noted that there seems to be quite a number of international visitors coming into this blog to look for stories on “unethical doctors”. It was rather interesting enough for me to key those two keywords into Google and noted that I was second on the list for Unethical Doctors. Imagine such general keywords and given top placing. Interesting. Now would the material international visitors that came into the blog really perceive as how unethical doctors can be in Malaysia? I must set the record straight.
In general, doctors are also human in Malaysia. They tend to do reasonably well in their studies and hence moving on to medical field in their tertiary education. Most doctors I know (more than 60%) are really nice people and they do have patients interests in their hearts. That I know too. The 20 or so posts I have written so far are targetted at the minority group of doctors (maybe 10-15%) and out of those, only 2 I have seen that blogs, namely Cytusm (whom I target a lot less now) and PalmDoc (who is quite insistent on bringing the game to another level).
You see, an interesting trait among doctors are their egos. Because of their own perception that they belong to an elite bunch, their ego is as big as the Beijing Bird Nest stadium. Especially true in PalmDoc’s case, whose effort so far in countering my facts are to delete my comments, and to ban me from his site. By banning someone, effectively sending that person to a personal ISA, would mean this person is a dictator and cannot be challenged. Which is especially bad especially a site like his claiming to be a medical resource centre, would mean that readers will be presented with censored facts or facts which he perceive to be facts even though they can be fatally or factually wrong.
The good thing about internet nowadays, is that we are free to write as long as we do not lie about it or present false information about things. It is okay to make mistake. I made plenty along my life and in my blog. With debate and discussions, facts would eventually arise. But by denying it, you will only cement my believes that doctors in Malaysia are really “katak dibawah tempurung” (another big google search item).
It is a really shameful behaviour if you asked me. A good doctor will at least present his side and declare his intention or unless i really hit the nail on the head and that what I said is truly a reflection of his character. O well, time to go back and increase more writings on the unethical doctors in malaysia series. Like I have said, if any good doctors are reading this, present your opinion and i will gladly post it up here even if it is totally against me. I don’t mind. When I started this series, I am prepared for all the hammering there is. Unfortunately non has come up. Unless what I have written is 100% true, otherwise it has to be people are not prepared to speak against palmdoc. Why? Coz they don’t like offending people. Hahahaha.. well.. it is okay, I am a very patient man. I will ensure I continue writing whenever i have the free time until my blog is the top keyword search for the word “doctor” so that everyone in the world will know how doctors in Malaysia will continue to protect their own kind. Come on, take a stand NOW. Come on, there is an average of 300 unique visitors to each of my posts so far and I am pretty sure a big percentage are doctors.
