I know it will be virtually impossible for any doctors to speak ill of another. Thank goodness I am no longer in that career, otherwise I would have to be nice and not speak ill of others. The fact remains, what I have written so far are all the bad traits of a doctor.

PalmDoc whose ego is even bigger than the “Shocked and Awed” Bush, has succumb to my test. I wrote a comment, one which I consider not to be nasty but enough to point out that he should go trumpeting to others what they did wrong when he himself has erred. Then I blankly pointed out his mistake. Since day 1, no matter how nasty comments have been against me in this blog, I will allow it and let it stays, so that readers will have a choice of listening to both side of stories. I have my shares of mistakes. Afterall, i am human and at least with a reasonably sized egos, unlike Palmdoc, who immediately deleted my comment. I saw it was published but came night time, it was lost. Readers were not given a chance to see his mistakes, and his post continually misled others into thinking that what he has written might have been gospel, especially since the other two comments did not comment on his error.

In some ways, that particular blog cannot be called Malaysia Medical Resources. That’s the furthest from what a true “resources” should be. Resources should be non-partisan, no hint of bias and non-editorial. Rather it will concentrate on presenting information in its purest form. But the whole thing is a farce as you can see how editorials are being spun out as if they are fighters for ethics and truth. Far from it. As I uncover articles after articles about how well doctors should be paid, I was fairly disgusted that money might have been the only motivation to cause doctors to treat patients. I was more so disgusted the way that “personal blog” (rather than a resources centre) portrays itself as a fighter for ethical issues and doctors benefits. But his ego is too big. So big until he cannot accept that he too is only human and can be subjected to natural flaws of human beings. I note how he would with strong stance of arrogance that he would comment on how others have flawed. Including ministers.

Now, here is another interesting bits which I saw how he posted and other doctors have came in and made noise on similar issue. It is about ministers and cronies and how ministers come in will need the best health services. And doctors hate it when that happens. I would hate it too if I am in their position. Honestly, I would have turn down any speedy consultation for that person and get them to go back in line. If every doctor had done that, surely it will force any cronies to seek private healthcare.

Why keep on ranting and complaining and you guys ain’t doing anything about it? Isn’t that hypocrisy? If you guys have the balls, get the medical association to hand out a directive that ALL patients should be treated equally. That way, my friend, I would say you are a fighter. Otherwise you are just another nagging doctor who talks and talks but has no balls to do anything. Even Malaysians have voted 5 opposition states in, and here we have the doctors who will not face any prosecutions for doing their jobs, scared of the ministers and quietly and obediently listens to their instructions. If you think that’s proper, just keep quiet and not harp on it. Learn to live with it. Otherwise you will be like kiasu singaporeans who keeps complaining about their government only to vote them back in later.

So now, are you going to continue your hypocritical ways?
