It is true. No matter how busy one is, when issues like the above cropped up, no matter how late, I should drop a line or two. Okay, let’s go back to basic. What was actually said? Does it matter? From my humble perspective, our friend said he was misquoted and our comrades in sin chew will stand by their reporters.
Okay, Sin Chew reporters… hmmm.. not good in Bahasa and hence was misquoting our friend? Kanina, then Najib must have also been bad in Bahasa, coz he was so busy apologising on behalf of UMNO. I mean come on. He was at the legal gathering. So he must have heard something to make his heart goes berdebar debar, right? If not, why would he quickly come out and apologise? So Ahmad trying to do a quick “shift the blame” thingy? Shouldn’t he at least widen the blame circle and instead of blaming Gerakan and the reporters, he should include Najib? Or even the entire chinese community in Malaysia who are at the moment “nationless”.
And how come, yes, how come, everytime when someone is called a racist, he will immediately back up his statement with, “Saya ada banyak kawan kawan kaum cina dan india”. when you have to make such effort in reasoning that you are not a racist, perhaps you should take another look at yourself.
Now, UMNO says it is their problems. Hmmm… not BN’s problem. Is that really so? Why was Chua Soi Lek forced from his position by BN rather than by MCA? Interesting concept that BN has. Perhaps PR will have a better solution at this in future. Normally elsewhere (just for comparison sake) the leader has to take the fall for such outrageous members behaviour, especially when a member is yielding a rather high position. So in future, if some stupid MCA fella comes out and challenge why Maths and Sciences should be taught in chinese, it will be up to MCA’s top brasses to decide the fate of that stupid fella, right?
But one thing honestly I do enjoy most since 8th March this year is the never ending drama being shown by our folks in parliament. Come on, don’t tell me you enjoy watching Desperate Housewives more. This is Desperate Politicians, and now showing everywhere in a newspaper or blog near you.
