It is rather interesting to see how pathetic the blogosphere sometimes can be. You see the blogosphere is an interesting place to see how moronic masses would champion issues which they felt they strongly believes in. When MAS launches the zero air fare and then seeing the rebuttal from Tony Fernendez that the zero airfare is a trick and challenges people to see if Air Asia is anymore expensive.
Then the moronic mass begin writing on how MAS is “tricking” people that their airfare is not really zero airfare when these moronic mass has forgotten that it was Air Asia that first came out with the zero airfare concept. Factually if you read my post from the past, I have champion Air Asia for bringing down the costs of air travel. Yes, my post had been 100% positive on Air Asia.
Now these moronic mass have decided agree that MAS is a con artiste and will not heed MAS call for cheaper air fares. hey, when MAS was losing money you complain, now MAS is making money, you complain. Truth is, the difference between MAS zero airfare and Air Asia is not that great and it is important for MAS to launch such campaign. One is to increase profits which analysts have said should be within the 5% range. Look MAS actually makes money from such campaigns. And yet Malaysians get to have a choice. MAS is a full service carrier, Air Asia is a budget carrier. You cannot expect to pay the same for a Toyota Vios using Proton Waja’s price.
Tony Fernendez is a great marketing guy. Almost a carbon copy of Richard Branson but of course our very own Tony is himself. He is not wrong to launch a SUB ZERO air fare campaign. Competition is always healthy. Just like our three mobile phone carriers will tell you. With competition, the end beneficial party would always be the consumers.
So WHY the HELL are you COMPLAINING?
will write more on this issue later.

eh ok lah flight to langkawi if i buy 1 month from now i save about RM 500 wht u want? free RM0 flight? then u go buy your own plane and flght with it zero fare for sure
I cannot agree with you more! What is Fernandez complaining about?? After all, isn’t business about competition? Do you think it is because he is “protected”?
