When I wrote my series on relationships lately and one of the topics covered is local men looking at foreign brides, in particular Vietnamese brides. But why against Vietnamese brides? They tell you the minority stories of how some conned their husband in Malaysia. But yet they refused to let you know how reasonably successful Singaporean men had been with foreign wives. There will always be problems. Fact is local marriages also has a high incidence of divorce rate, so why would foreign wives be of any difference?
Topics which we were talking about in the past few posts includes how some Malaysian wives are taking their husband as if they are a walking ATM. Such materialistic wives are generally deemed the lowest among Malaysian men and hence some will actually find it simpler to fulfil the wants of foreigner wives. They also include the fact that Vietnamese wives tend to be from rural area who are less exposed to the evils of the world.
But if you look at the agenda that is being created by the women groups in Malaysia which is nothing more than feminist movements, they are protecting their own local kind. I have seen friends who have suffered in that they have to continually fuel their wives shopping habit. I have a friend who do not even have enough for a RM3.50 plate of chicken rice (due to his low salary at less than RM1,500) but yet the wife could easily go for a hairdo on a monthly basis for RM200. Yet the wife do not want to work and yes, the wife has to remit money back to her local parents.
There are always good and bad to everything but the way the press portrays today, it feels as if they have evil intention more than noble ones.
i heard buying russian wives is quite common in europe so that they go alibi to live in richer countries….
well not really a problem IMO.
