Interestingly Singapore girls find that going to the press is a sure fire way of finding a life partner and in the process getsome publicity for themselves. Already a rich and reasonably nice looking auntie named Ivy Lee got her life partner though not through the press even though it happened in a few days after the press release. Either she lied through her teeth in hope of getting a few extra potential customers or she truly seek love.
So it ain’t surprising when this girl, Trina Tan is looking for a husband and allows the newspaper to do an arranged marriage for her. The following are some of her recommended criteria. If you think you fit the bill why not write in.
Don’t say I never recommend you good lobangs, eh guys? For more info read all about her here.

ahhhh…. a woman who advertises to get a man… oh that’s sad. In my mind, I’ve always thought that a woman could snap her fingers and get any guys she wanted because well… she’s a woman. Singapore is sad
Of course, they aren’t any men in Singapore…
is the problem lies in her choosiness
or she is desperate in this case?
singaporean womenthemselves should be blamedand they should change their mind set?
or is it the fault of the men (who might be not good enough for these women)
I read the singaporean men usually marry oversea women.
Singaporeans are very competitive in their pure meritrocracy environment but when come to men,
oversea women outcompete singaporean women.
how come?
are oversea women better than singaporeans?
maybe not.
but at least they have less ego.
what do you think ?
Read this forum thread and you’ll know why?

“Foreigner a plus”
even foreigners read that also Tulan.
I think what people say about her as a SPG might not be completely wrong. it is a turn off for men after all.
noor: agreed. occasionally some women have cheapen themselves so much that they are being avoided by guys.
galliventer: remind me to give you an Emmy for the best stand up comedian.. you made me crack. LOL
relax: interestingly singapore female prefers foreigners (white caucasians) yet singapore male prefers foreigners (malaysian, viet, indon and chinese). Interesting? I believe so. hehehe
shadowfox: yeah. I read that thread before. Didn’t know you are a regular there. If you happen to see the nick xblogger < — that’s me
relax: yes SPG will always be a turn off to local chinese.
May I know the term SPG refers to Singaporean or not? If so, then everyone else has got their facts about me wrong. Next time, you wanna pass comments make sure you get yr facts correct. You don’t even know me!
Just because I m not white, I m termed SPG. Back in Australia, I m not classified as SPG. BOY IS IT RACIST HERE!
trina: thank you for dropping by. Being in Australia long enough, I believe that Australians used more racist terms that many of us back home. I believe the reader that said about you being an SPG merely signify the fact that for the classifications you are looking for in a guy, is precisely what an SPG would look for? A mere coincidents perhaps.
Hope you have found the love of your life with that newspaper article. Cheers.
funny tho, why is her “Foreigner a plus” prerequisite being assumed as wanting a Caucasian? if she’s singaporean and finds a malaysian, the guy’s a foreigner too what…
I think she did specifically mention or imply that she wants a white foreigner.
