Being pressured into an indecent proposal..

On Sunday’s Star, if anyone has a copy, can read in the columm heart and soul where readers will write in with their problem and see if aunt agony can help. Now as a teenager, i remember my humsup friends and myself would read the columm Tell it to Thelma which seems to have a lot of steamy sex stories. Don’t know if anyone here has ever read them. by the way, just a trivia, Malaysian press seems to be able to write sex stories better than their foreign counterpart. Aussie newspaper relies heavily on facts. Malaysian press prefers to tell it in a story format.

On today’s Sunday Star, you can read a story about how a married woman is being pressured to sleep with her hubby’s boss. For the convenience of those who hasn’t got a copy, the story goes like this…

her husband was struggling to find work and when he got it, he has difficulty in keeping it. so one fine day his boss came to his house and asked the hubby to go back to office to collect some stuff. basically while the hubby is gone, the boss decided to make a move on her. she was pressured into giving in to him, if not, he will sack the hubby. The wife gave in(stupid enough..).

this sort of stories happen quite a fair bit. i have heard many a times, in certain countries, the superiors will try to make a move on their juniors. Normally the junior has no recourse but to give in.

Remember the movie Indecent proposal? Demi Moore had a hubby who caught on gambling in las vegas and the hubby lost big time. So this rich guy came along (was it robert redford?) and offered her a big amount of money (was it $500k?) which could be used to pay off the hubby’s debt. The rich guy said not necessary sex, just keep him company if the flow is right.. yadda yadda yadda.. i mean you know the stories.

So why is it even in modern society such plots still exist? does it really take two hands to clap? or can one hand force the other to clap?

I honestly think this is over-the-line DISGUSTING.

I would in every case dump the job and file a sexual harassment lawsuit against him. But that’s assuming I’m all rich and famous.

The thing is, not everyone can afford to lose their only source of income.

Which makes this all the more DISGUSTING to see.

boringest: unfortunately for some of us, we live in a world of biasness and immoral (for some).

Jon: yes, the weak does get bullied.
