Today has been one of those rather interesting day. For some who knows me, one of my primary job function is to scold people. Yes, to scold. But you need pattern and style to scold or else it would back fire on you. Damm right. And a word of advice, do not keep me waiting. I will blast you to smitherens for that.
This is one of those big banks by international standard. Not listed in Malaysia or Singapore i think. But they have pretty stupid system. The branch cannot help you much at all. They are like those pretty vase which looks good. O yeah their girls are damm pretty i might add. I was telling someone I wanna screw that bank or whichever banker that has the unfortunate chance of doing up my case. Then my friend asked me if I wanna screw as in screw screw or screw scolding. ok ok.. i drifted.
Anyways, they kept me waiting. Bad mistake. I waited 35 minutes before anyone attended me. I happened to see two queue jumpers which is another really negative thingy on my report card.
My first question to the branch manager was, “does your bank actually believes in customer services?”
Sure I have not been to your branch in the last 7 years but that doesn’t mean that you can do whatever you like to your customers especially since I have introduced myself and the company i worked for right? Well, I do not ask to be accorded VIP status but at least do not let people jump queue. Someone from my company had made an appointment with your branch and do keep the appointment promptly. You do not expect people to turn up promptly to see you busying yourself with queue jumpers.
Then began my hydrogen bombs. Yes kill everything that are moving but save the buildings. O well. The branch manager was at least professional enough. And really apologetic. Plus point. That will definitely help to simmer things a bit. But only just. The worst has yet to surface. The branch manager explained to me how stupid their branch can be because they cannot help us. Everything has to be done via KL. Damm.. we fuck also we need KL’s approval? Now, get me one of your girls so that she can be screwed. Okay.. before I sway too far away.
Then back to the office. Called up KL. Verify me. Wait. Couldn’t verify me because my name is not there. HELLO.. family business, those veterans retired? and leaving poor souls like me running around minding things that are “by your definition” not my business. Bloody hell you bloody thick skull. You think I wanna transfer big sum of money into my name ah? or I wanna find out naughty things or confidential things about that company? HELLO.. I on the other hand will tell you EVERYTHING confidential about that company. Okay stubborn woman. Stupid woman. Whatever woman.
Told her, I won’t waste my time talking to her. Yeah she is not worthy. Plus I don’t get to see her, so cannot verify if she is pretty or not. WASTE of TIME. told her to pass the line to the superior to which she replied in her dunno what accented english, “it will be the same, my superior won’t talk to anyone who is NOT verify.”
Try me. If your superior does that, I will make sure your bank pays severely for it. Yes, I will complain to Bank Negara for the mistakes you have made and for the loss we potentially suffer. What I am going to offer your bank is something of a win win for both and you, YES you the idiotic woman who thinks she knows everything, will potentially cause your bank some losses.
She grudgingly pass the phone to her superior after I warned her that the phone is recorded and if she doesn’t do as she is told, she may have to be penalised later. So no choice pass the phone. same story. why is this bank, supposedly of international standards (compared to our domestic banks) have fools for front and people with brains at the back. I have sort of resolved that in future, I will straight go to the top no need to talk to the front staff. Damm you people.
The rest they say was history. The manager took the phone call. Made the right connections. Got the things done accordingly so that we both won’t lose out. It is ONLY one small phone call but it does tell a lot. Malaysia’s customer services SUCKS big time.
